Henry American Beauty .22 S/L/LR Lever-Action Rifle This exceptionally attractive Henry American Beauty Model H004AB combines the familiar handling and traditional styling of Henry’s Golden Boy platform with elaborate floral engraving and a distinctive 14-karat rose-gold-plated rose. Chambered to accept .22 Short, .22 Long and .22 Long Rifle ammunition, this American-made lever-action rifle is equally appealing as a collectible display piece or as a traditional rimfire rifle for recreational shooting, small-game hunting and time at the range. Engraving and Finish The centerpiece of the rifle is its mirror-bright nickel-plated receiver cover. Both sides are decorated with dense floral scrollwork surrounding the American Beauty rose. The rose and selected flourishes are enhanced with vibrant 14-karat rose-gold plating, creating a warm contrast against the polished nickel finish. A flowing banner beneath the rose reads “American Beauty.” According to Henry, the engraving was mechanically transferred using a plate originally hand-cut by Master Engraver Heidi Roos. This process preserves the bright-cut character of the original artwork while allowing the detailed design to be reproduced consistently across the American Beauty series. A matching nickel-plated barrel band and buttplate complete the presentation. The rifle is fitted with genuine American walnut furniture, a blued-steel octagonal barrel, a brass-bead front sight and a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight.
