Lot Details: Year: 2022 Denomination: $1 Series: American Silver Eagle Composition: .999 fine silver Silver Weight: One troy ounce Certification: ANACS Grade: MS70 Designation: A First Strike Coin Numbered Label: No. 249 of 15,496 Certification Number: 0200888010100249 Background The American Silver Eagle was introduced in 1986 as the official silver bullion coin of the United States. Each coin carries a legal-tender face value of one dollar and contains one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman’s celebrated Walking Liberty design, originally created for the half dollar introduced in 1916. The reverse carries Emily Damstra’s landing-eagle design, which debuted during the second half of 2021 and continued as the standard reverse in 2022. ANACS assigned this example the highest numerical grade of MS70. Its label also carries the First Strike designation and identifies it as No. 249 of 15,496 coins issued with this particular numbered certification label. This label number should not be confused with the total United States Mint production for the 2022 bullion issue. Condition The coin remains sealed in its ANACS patriotic-style certification holder. The holder may exhibit light handling, storage marks, or surface scuffs. Please review all photographs for the appearance and condition of the coin and holder. Double A Auction & Realty
