Classic Winchester Model 12 20-Gauge Pump-Action Shotgun Up for auction is a iconic Winchester Model 12 20-Gauge Pump-Action Shotgun, often revered as “The Perfect Repeater.” Designed by Thomas Crosley Johnson, the Model 12 is widely considered one of the finest pump-action shotguns ever manufactured in America, offering slick, reliable lockwork and superb balance in field gauges. Chambered in 20 Gauge, this shotgun features an internal hammer, a tubular magazine with a ribbed wooden slide forend, a cross-bolt safety at the front of the trigger guard, and a smooth plain barrel with a front sight bead. Capped off with a walnut pistol-grip stock and factory buttplate, 20-gauge Model 12s remain particularly sought after for their trim receiver dimensions and lightweight field handling.
